“ Came in to try this place, and I honestly have to say it is good food. I had the Cobb Salad, chicken was great and the avocado was just ripe. Also tried the Seafood Chowder, and it was good, I prefer Clam Chowder, but this chowder is a good one. Service was fast and the staff is great. Carlos was a great help as well, and he definitely makes the place feel cozy and clean. Great place to have lunch. ”

“ This was my second time eating at Urban Plates, the first being at the location in Long Beach. That was a very pleasant experience and I was left feeling more than satisfied with the food I had so I had high hopes coming into this one. This time around, I ordered the three chicken tender meal with sides of Mac and cheese and mushroom stuffing. It was so so delicious and filling. The tenders were juicy and a good size, and the spice level left me surprised. I ordered them Nashville hot and they came very spicy, which is always welcome. The sides I had were also delicious with the stuffing leaving something to be desired but it was still good. The Mac and cheese was my favorite as it was the right amount of cheese and texture. Though we did have to wait quite a while for our food which I thought was strange because there were not many other people in the restaurant, I didnt mind it much. The servers and staff were all very warm and friendly, especially the man who took our order. Eating at Urban Plates I feel has really shown me the difference in buying meals that are a bit pricier but at the same time, are of a higher quality due to the ingredients. I feel like it is so good because they are using some great ingredients that other places typically would not. That being said, the portions are more than generous and fair which is another reason to return which I most definitely will. ”
